He was the son of the late Arnold "Bill" Cockman and Marie Allen Cockman Wicker and was also preceded in death by his brother, Tony "T.C." Cockman.
Surviving is his sister, Tina Cockman Branson (Jason Hart); nephew, Tony Branson (Tori Hart); niece, Randa Branson; great-niece, Annalynne Branson; great-nephew, Ryland Branson; soul-mate, Theresa Lynn Branson.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 10, 2027 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 W. Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty, NC.
