Robert Wayne Manning

He was the son of the late Robert and Katie Manning and was also preceded in death by two sisters, Martha Tadlock and Judy Blackwell.

Surviving is his wife of 35 years, Linda Brown Manning; daughters, Heather Smith and her husband, Mike, and Melissa Manning; step-sons, Barry York and Joseph York and his wife, Regina; sisters, Kathy Jackson, Sandra Sailors and Margaret Patterson; brother, Julian Glenn Manning; grandchildren, Amber Smith, Kelsey Burke, Olyvia Burke and Hannah Brisbee, Nathan Smith and Cameron Smith; great-grandchildren, Shealynn Boatner, Justin Bryarley, Kadence Foust and Morgan Smith; and step-grandchildren, Casey York, Maggie York, Dalton York and Savannah York.

The family will receive friends for a time of visitation on Saturday, February 21, 2026 from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at Grace Community Fellowship Baptist Church, 7500 US Hwy 64 E, Ramseur, NC. A funeral service will be conducted at on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. at Grace Community Fellowship Baptist Church. He will be laid to rest in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Community Fellowship Baptist Church, 7500 US Hwy 64 E, Ramseur, NC 27316.
