A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at

The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jerry Johnson, officiating; burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 28, 2015

prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Loflin Funeral Home.

Robert was the son of the late Cyrus Lee and Mary Bailey Scarlette and was also preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Lauder Scarlette; sisters, Betty Osborne and Frances Scarlette; brothers, Herbert, Billy and Claxton “Boots” Scarlette.

Surviving is his daughter, Hannah S. Johnson (Russell) of Siler City; son, Tommy Scarlette (JoAnn) of Staley; six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
