Sam was a loving husband, father, grandfather and a friend to many. He was a hard worker who enjoyed farming and working his land. He had a love for Bluegrass music and he'd always say "I am going to jump in where I can and try to hang on" with his guitar. He was very proud of his military service in the marine corps. Sam retired from Overnite Trucking Company after over 30 years of service with them. To know him was to love him.
