A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 3 at 11:00 a.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening at the funeral home from 6 until 8 p.m.
She was daughter of the late Herbert George, Sr. and Stella Mae Gentry McKinney and was also preceded in death by her husband, Deadrick “Doc” Harris.
Surviving is one daughter, Linda Kay Harris Everett and Wayne Wooten of Elizabethton, TN; three sons, William and Ada Harris of Elizabethton, TN, William “Wimpy” and Gina Harris of Staley, Donald and Terry Harris of Liberty; two sisters, Jenny Holsclow and Ruby Carter; two brothers, Tommy McKinney and George McKinney, Jr.; and 13 grandchildren, Allan, Tina, Angela, Donald, Ricky, David, Crystal, Faith, Johnathan, William III, Joseph, Hope and Cevaejion.
