Shirley was born September 29, 1944 in Beckley, West Virginia. She was a gifted pianist, a devout Christian, and was a devoted animal lover who cared deeply for the many pets she cherished during her life.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Fredra Ann Kidd and Robert Kidd of Ramseur, North Carolina; her granddaughter Stephanie Ewing; and her grandson Nicholas Ewing, and his wife Leighton Buchanon-Cates. In addition, Shirley is remembered by many dear friends who will deeply miss her.
Services will be private.
