Terry Vance Coble

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 at the Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 West Swannanoa Avenue, Liberty. He will be laid to rest following the service in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:45 p.m. prior to the service.

Terry was the son of the late Newell Vance Coble and Ruby O'Briant Coble Smith.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory, wife of 53 years, Betty Walden Coble; sisters, Kathy Greeson (Dean) and Geraldine Layton; and brother, Richard Coble (Lorraine).

Terry worked many years in the Greensboro and Julian communities in masonry and construction. He enjoyed spending time outdoors rabbit hunting with the help of beagles. Terry was a committed husband, brother and friend; often showing his love for others by lending a helping hand or simply a phone call to show he was thinking of you. Through good times and hard times, Terry always loved his wife and family.
