Walter "Mickey" McRae Sizemore

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 21st at 1:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, 212 W. Swannanoa Ave, Liberty, NC.

Mickey was preceded in death by his father, Johnny Sizemore. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Ronda Sizemore; mother, Patsy Burnell Sizemore; daughters, “Cindy” Lovelace (Bradley), Autumn Linsinbigler (Chris), and Dayna Evans (Josh); son, Chad Sizemore; brother, Randy Sizemore (Lisa); and grandchildren, Levi Evans, Caleb Linsinbigler, Sara Evans, and Michael Evans.

When you think of Mickey, affectionately known as “Papa”, we hope you think of laughter, fishing, art, woodwork, tie dye, banjos and guitars, antique shopping, old tools, coins, overalls, snakeskin hat wraps, dragons and fairies, and creepy tree faces. We hope you think of love. The kind of love he had for his wife, his very best friend. The kind of love he had for his mother and his family. The kind of love that could only come from Jesus himself. So when you think of Mickey, be inspired to love with all you have. Let his spirit live inside you. See you again one day, Papa.
