An unexpected loss is so hard! Bill always had a twinkle in his eye and a smile. He knew more funny stories than any person I ever met. 
He will be missed by so many. Especially his children, Susan and Eric.  Susan's husband Mike and his grandchildren Austin and Savannah.  However, I know Bill is so happy to be united with the love of his life Sue again.
He usually had his wife Sue with him wherever he went. But one day he came to the house with his sweet little daughter Susan who was close in age to my daughter. I talked Bill into letting Susan stay and play that afternoon. I fell in love with that little munchkin that day and she has had a part of my heart since! I love you and I am here for you always!♥️🦋🙏🏼

Bill and I served together in Viet Nam in 1967-68. My sincere condolences to the entire family. Bill contacted my via phone approx. 13 years ago to my surprise and we talked for about an hour and ever since then we would communicate now and then. He was a fantastic person and I always enjoyed being around him. Rest in peace my friend. 

Billy was my brother’s best friend in high school.  I’m sure there are stories that only he or H. W. could tell.  Wish I could hear them!

Just heard tonight, of Bill's passing,  would always run into him at Food Lion, loved him such a sweet man.

Sam and I will always  be grateful for the "bee keeping expertise" Bill so willing shared with Sam.

I just found out Bill has gone home. He will be missed. We enjoyed his visits and his conversations and his sense of humor. Prayers and sympathy  to  his children and family.  Our loss is heaven's gain.
