William Paul Hodgin, 79, of Liberty passed away on Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Randolph Hospice House.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at The Loflin Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Travis Brock officiating; burial will follow in Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Paul was the son of the late William Orvie and Lula Etta Allred Hodgin and was also preceded in death by his sisters, Dorothy Law and Pauline “Polly” Graves and brothers, Lacy Hodgin, Cecil “Buster” Hodgin and Jessie Howard Hodgin.

Surviving is his loving wife of 55 years, Nancy Davis Hodgin; daughter, Darlene Allred (Greg); granddaughters, Brittany Allred (Dalton Julian) and Meghan Allred; two great-grandchildren, Payton Julian and Rylan Julian; sister, Ruby Johnson and brother, Coy Hodgin (Eva).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sandy Creek Baptist Church, 4765 Sandy Creek Church Road, Liberty, NC 27298.
