

He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church. He was an avid Street Rod enthusiast, a member of The Good Guys and enjoyed drag racing. He retired from AC Corporation as a licensed plumber after 25 years of service.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 11 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Charles Hutchens and Rev. Daniel Lumpee. The family will received friends on Sunday evening from 5:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Funeral Service, 4601 Pleasant Garden Road, Pleasant Garden, NC.
Clem was the son of the late John Perry Royal and Marjorie Louise Michaux Royal and was also preceded in death by his brother J.P. Royal, Jr.
Surviving is his wife, Margaret Allred Royal; sons, Randy Royal, Tony Royal, and his wife, Carrie and Timmy Royal and his wife, Kim; brother, Rocky Royal and his wife, Cheryl; sister-in-law, Nancy Royal; grandchildren, Logan, Hayden, and Lane Royal; step-grandchildren, Nicholas Bullins, Brittany Bullins and Christian Burrow; special friends, Buster Faircloth, Raymond Cox, and Dr. Jim Little. He loved his extended family, nieces and nephews, Londa Parks, Tre, Mackenzie, Lily and Savannah.
The family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to The Randolph Cancer Center, Dr. Linda Thornkorn and Hospice of Randolph County.
