Born in Chicago he is the beloved husband of Margaret A. Porto and loving father of Susan Porto Escobedo (Emilio), Debra Savage (Steve), Dennis Porto (Cathy), Andrew Porto (Wendy), and Pamela Boyle (Dave). He is also survived by his cherished grandchildren, Lorelei, Emilio, Lizette, Kelley (Carolina), Steven, Taylor, Derek, Gina, Drew (Mariah), Miranda, Clayton, Nick (Maureen), Megan, and Brian. He is predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Frances Porto, and his three sisters, Johanna Porto, Antoinette Duncan, and Audrey Johnson.
Memorial services are currently being planned in Oak Park, Illinois at a later date.
