

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barbara Marie Taibi who peacefully departed this world on February 22nd at the age of 71. She was surrounded by love, comforted by family, and left behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unwavering devotion.
Born on May 3rd,1954 in Niagara Falls, NY, Barbara dedicated her life to her family, always putting the needs of others before her own. She was a pillar of strength, a source of endless love, and the heart of our home. Her warmth could brighten even the darkest days, and her wisdom will continue to guide us.
Barbara was not only a loving mother but also a cherished grandmother, wife, sister, aunt, and friend. She touched the lives of many with her generosity, infectious laughter, and compassionate spirit. Whether through a comforting embrace, a home-cooked meal, or simple words of encouragement, she had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. She dedicated her life to the service of others, exemplifying compassion and commitment throughout her 30+ year career as a nurse.
She married David Taibi in 1979 and they were married for 46 years. Together they raised three children: Tiffany Marie, David James, and Michael Anthony. Her nurturing spirit extended to her two grandchildren, Angelina and Natalia, who will forever remember her as their loving Grandma.
She is survived by her husband, David Taibi; her children, Tiffany Soto (Smiley Soto) with her granddaughters, Angelina and Natalia, David Taibi Jr., Michael Taibi; her siblings, sister Jill Armeli (Charles Armeli Sr.) with her nephew Chuckie Armeli Jr. and brother Anthony Villa (Joan Villa); her sisters-in-law Elaine Aaron (Bobby Aaron) with her niece Abby and nephew Robert and Lynda Hinckley (Jim Hinckley) with her nephews Matt, Paul,and Andrew with their families and many more friends and family who will forever hold her in their hearts.
She was preceded in death by her parents Anthony and Gilda Villa, her in-laws Lucy and James Taibi and her beloved niece Vienna Armeli.
Though she is no longer physically with us, her love, lessons, and legacy will live on in the lives she touched. Rest peacefully. You will always be loved and never forgotten.
A service to honor and celebrate her life will be held at a later date to be determined.
