Carol Bulzacchelli

(December 11, 1945 – February 6, 2025)

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Carol Maureen Bulzacchelli, age 79, of Plantation, FL, who passed away on February 6, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale.

Born in Queens, NY, to Thomas and Margaret Norton on December 11, 1945, Carol was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She married Vito Michael Bulzacchelli on May 2, 1965, at Mount Carmel Catholic Church in New York. Together, they shared a beautiful life until Vito's passing.

Carol had a rewarding career with the Broward County Public Defender's office, where she worked in administration for 14 years before retiring. She was passionate about giving back to the community, dedicating much of her time to fostering at-risk children and rescuing animals in need.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband Vito, her brother Thomas, and her sister Janet. She is survived by her children: Daniel Bulzacchelli and Donna DePaul, Matthew Bulzacchelli, Tim Jones and Lanie Bulzacchelli; grandchildren Sarah Bulzacchelli Zeon, Daniel Bulzacchelli II, Tristan Jones, Hunter Jones, Mason Bulzacchelli, and great-grandchildren Sienna Zeon and Matteo Zeon.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at 11:30 AM on February 20, 2025, at Horizon Funeral Lighthouse Point.
