Born in Sayula, Jalisco, Mexico and formerly of Chicago, Illinois, Consuelo is the beloved wife of the late Miguel Fernandez and loving mother of Sergio Calleros (Carmen), Jose Fernandez (the late Bernarda), Miguel Fernandez (Barbara), Elvia Fernandez and Consuelo Urquhart (the late Guy). Sister of Jose Luis Novoa (Lilia), Amparo Nunez (the late Froylan), the late Javier Novoa and the late Aurelio Novoa. She is the grandmother of Sergio (Megan), the late Carolina, Jesus Emanuel (Amber), Jose Jr., Gabriela, Alejandro, Guyoni Miguel, Mariah and Tatiana and great grandmother of Dominic, Drew, Dylan, Aliza and Archer. She is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Memorial Services with a future burial are being planned for a later date in Chicago.
