As a resident of Lighthouse Point, there’s a sweet serendipity in that Fader spent much of her life as a beacon of light among her family and friends, with an uncompromising spirit that could illuminate even the darkest of times. She left a lasting impact on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A natural-born entertainer, Fader transformed any gathering into a celebration. Known as “The Director of Fun,” she captivated everyone with her stories, humor, and love of music. Whether reminiscing about her adventures on the high seas or indulging her inner child at Cedar Point, she embraced life with unparalleled enthusiasm. Her passion for travel extended into her career as a travel agent, curating unforgettable journeys filled with adventure and joy.
Her compassion knew no bounds, especially for animals. A dedicated advocate for PAWS, she worked tirelessly to improve the lives of countless creatures. Her love for her own pets, Piper, Barron, Lakeside, and Ocean, was a testament to her generous heart.
Fader’s contributions to her community were significant. She served as Lady Commodore of the Lighthouse Point Yacht Club (2013–2014), on the Board of Governors (2019), and was a respected member of the Corinthians and Blue Gavel. Beyond Lighthouse Point, Ocean Reef, where she was a devoted member, held a special place in her heart.
Now reunited with her beloved husband, Jim, and their cherished dog, Palmer, Fader’s spirit lives on in the stories we share and the joy she inspired.
