Francis Leon Spakoski was born June 27, 1935 in Brooklyn, NY to Mae Hess Spakoski and Leon Spakoski in Brooklyn, NY, and passed from this life on August 7, 2021 at age 86 surrounded by those that loved him.
Over the course of his long life he served in the army in Germany, and lived in NY, CT, ID, Chicago, CA and PA before settling down in FL for his twilight years.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Jeanne, who stayed beside him in steadfast love and support until his passing. He was the proud father of five kids: Francis Leon ll, Evelyn, Louise, Madison, and MacKenzie. His intelligence, wit and charisma led to many lifelong friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his children, grandchildren and great- grandchildren, and teaching them to play poker while offering sage advice about life’s opportunities.
