My condolences to Anita. I don’t know if she remembers me but me and Jerry were friends back in the phar-mor days I remember when Jerry met Anita etc. sorry hear this news. Jerry was a good guy.

Jerry was always so helpful with any dealings you had with him.  Always a smile on his face. I used to tease him though about his team he backed when it came to football.  :)  I can remember years ago when Sunpass first came on board and we were doing night testing.  He was always so helpful and patient.  God has definitely gained an angel and we have lost a very dear person and friend.  I will miss him and think fondly of his kindness.

Jerry Donovan was such a light in this World. He was a kind hearted spirit who touched the lives of everyone he came in contact with. He was always super nice to me, and always had an uplifting happy spirit about him. He was cared for and will be truly missed. God bless the family and may he meet all of your needs at this time. May Jerry rest in peace.

Jerry was always a phone call away/willing to help.

Jerry was a very good friend to me for many years. He was always smiling, friendly and one of the most helpful people that  I have encountered. He always had time for me when I called him with questions.     He will be missed.

Jerry was always a pleasure to work with.  He was always willing to help you with whatever you needed, even if it wasn't something he could help with, he'd still help.  We lost a great person, but Heaven gained an angel.  'Til we meet again.

Alison and I were shocked to hear of Jerry’s passing. He made going to church with Alison for 10 years not only bearable, but an absolute pleasure for me. We loved Jerry. Father Dalton loved him. Our many dinners with Father Dalton included wonderful Jerry stories. Jerry always had all the sport scores for Father Dalton. I was Jerry’s basket passing partner most every Sunday morning at 7:30am mass. As an atheist he taught me everything about Catholicism. He knew all. Probably more than many of the so called experts. We will never forget you. Your kindness, your amazing wit and incredible sense of humor. Matthew and Alison

I am very heartbroken to find this out.  I remembered talking to Jerry from the other side of the cube and helping out when he could.  I wish I could be their in person but I know I am thinking about the family during this time.      Jerry, you finally get to rest my friend.   I will miss you!  :(

Jerry was a really great person.  I do not ever remember him being upset about anything.  When you needed his support, he always gave it.  I was truly blessed to have gotten to meet and know him.

Not too long ago, I passed Jerry by the elevator and he was his usual self.  No matter what he had a smile on his face and was cracking jokes.  He always had a way of looking at things with a sense of humor.  Jerry was a "nice guy", who is truly missed.  With deepest sympathy to all his family.

I will always remember Jerry as the nicest, most helpful person one could ever hope to meet. He will be greatly missed by his Turnpike family. I am praying for his family during this time of grief.

I had the pleasure of working with Jerry on multiple occasions throughout my time at FDOT. He was always so very willing to help anyone that had asked. It brings sadness to my heart to know that he has gone from us. He will be missed. My deepest regards to his family.

Jerry's cube was next to mine for many years at the Boca Tolls Data Center. We used to talk about those Boston sports teams as we were both from New England. Jerry was not only a wonderful person but a great man.  He will be missed. Condolences to the family. RIP Jerry.
