Born in Providence, Rhode Island, he was the son of Henry J. Garberg Jr & Mariann Gannon Garberg. He was the beloved husband of Elain D Garberg (Gladding) for 65 years. They shared 49 years in business together (Seabreeze Marine).
Henry is survived by son Henry Joseph Garberg IV of Highland Beach, Fl and grandchildren Zachary & Emilia Garberg. Also surviving his brother Dennis Garberg of Warwick, RI and sister Ann Bizier (Garberg) of Seekonk, Mass.
Henry served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He was the Grand Night of Monsignor Blessing Council of Hope, Rhode Island and also Chancellor for the State.
Mass will be held at Saint Ambrose Catholic Church on Friday, August 25th at 9:30 a.m. and Henry's ashes will be scattered out to Sea.
