Our beloved father Kenneth John Osterberger passed away peacefully on Thursday August 20, 2026, surrounded by his loved ones. Ken is now resting with The Lord, no more sickness or pain, joining his sister Carol and parents Eldon and Bernice.
He is survived by his three sons Kevin (Theresa), Jeffrey (Kolleen), and Brian; his four grandchildren Ashley, Amy, Brennen and Brynn; and his brother David (Rita), sister Rita (Lyle). Ken was born in Dubuque, lA in 1941 where he lived for over 25 years and went on to raise his family in South Florida. He joined the United States Airforce in 1960 where he proudly served for 4 years, some of those years in Greenland. He then went on to college where he majored in finance. Ken loved driving his car around town and by the beach. He worked for several banks over the years, and in his 70's worked at Enterprise Car Rental to stay on the move and drive all over South Florida.
Ken was a kind man, a humble man and specifically a family man as he would phone all his children to check in regularly, and call family and friends to see how they were doing. Ken was always eager to help others when he could. He loved spending time with his four grandchildren and during holidays he was always so happy to be around all those he loved. We will miss him very dearly.
