Lisa Petrone

Lisa Cornetta Petrone was called home to be with the Lord and to join her father and family in heaven on March 31, 2022. Lisa was born in Nyack, NY at Nyack Hospital on July 18, 1961, and grew up in Piermont, NY.

Along with the rest of her family, Lisa worked at Cornetta’s restaurant until her parents sold the restaurant in 1978. She then moved to Florida, where she has resided since in Deerfield Beach. Lisa dedicated her career to Suddath Relocation Systems for the last 30 years and made an everlasting mark on those she worked closely with. Her love for her only child, Sarah, was to the moon and back, larger than life, and was truly her greatest accomplishment.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2022 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services located in Lighthouse Point, FL.  a funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022 at 9:30am at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Deerfield Beach, FL.  

Lisa is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Cornetta; and is survived by her mother, Patricia Cornetta; her husband, Frank Petrone; her pride and joy, daughter, Sarah Petrone; her sisters, Patricia Storey (Julian), Anita Cornetta; her brother, John Cornetta (Ludmila); her aunts, Janet Hennessy, Adele Gianotti (Sandy) along with many nieces, nephews, and countless cousins.

Lisa was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure.
