

Mrs. Fletcher was born March 7, 1929 in Greenup County, the daughter of the late John and Minnie Ousley Messer.
She married Ramey Fletcher on July 27, 1951. They were married nearly 60 years, until his death in 2011.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bernice and Rosa and one brother Theodore.
Mrs. Fletcher graduated from the Jewish Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati in 1951. Over the years she worked in several different hospitals and departments. She eventually retired from Pathways as a Psychiatric and Mental Health Nurse on July 11, 2008 at 79 years old. She was a long-time member of the Load Christian Baptist Church in Load, Ky where she became an advocate for the children's ministries.
Retiring to Florida she became an active member in the Grace Church and Highlands Christian Academy they support. She took an important role in her Condo Association and was always helpful to her neighbors and friends in need. She was an avid reader and loved sports. Her passion was travel and she was fortunate to be able to travel extensively.
She is survived by four children, Michael (Gloria) Fletcher of St. Cloud, FL; Beth Manis of Raceland, KY; Ina (Jim) Fletcher Akiyama of Lighthouse Point, FL; and Tim Fletcher of Ashland, KY. Nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Grace Church in Deerfield Beach, FL on Sept 7, 2022 at 4:00pm.

A celebration of her life and burial will be held in Kentucky at a future date. Arrangements have not been finalized.
