Molly Louise Firth

Molly Louise Firth was born in 1944 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of Eleanor and Malcolm Firth. Ms. Firth moved to West Virginia and attended Saint Catherine's School in Richmond, VA. Molly then graduated from the University of South Carolina where she received her degree in education. While attending USC, she became the Vice President of her Sorority Chi Omega.

Shortly after graduating college, Molly became a stewardess with Delta Airlines and traveled to many parts of the world such as Africa, Asia, Australia and Europe.

Molly was active in Beaux Arts of Fort Lauderdale (serving as President, Chairman of Festival of Trees, Chairman of the Las Olas Art Festival, Chairman of Promenade in the Park ) for many years served on the Mother's Club Board of Pine Crest School. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, spending much of her time with her grandchildren. Molly enjoyed watching Dolphins Football, USC College Football, Gators College Football and all of her grandchildren's sports games. Molly was an active and avid sports fan.

Molly is survived by her daughter Molly Christine Baust, son-in-law Scott W Baust, grandchildren Scott, William, "the twins" John & Christine,

her sister Louise Firth, her nieces and nephews, Shane Doran / wife Michelle / children Virginia & Eleanor, Clayton Doran, Firth Martin / husband Matt, her many loving friends and extended family, David Thomas.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 3, 2017 at 4:00 pm at Christ Church, 4845 N.E. 25th Ave. Fort Lauderdale, FL 33308. Following services, a reception will be held at the Sea Ranch Lakes Beach Club, where we will celebrate the wonderful, positive and energetic life of Molly.
