Peter Alexander Harrison

Peter A. Harrison, 76, of Highland Beach, Florida formerly of Bayonne New Jersey and Staten Island, NY passed away at home peacefully on February 12, 2025. He was the son of the late Alexander and Elizabeth (Douvris) Harrison and the husband of the late Connie (Tricomi) Harrison.

He leaves behind his beloved sons Nicholas and Christopher, his wife Jennifer and 2 precious grandchildren. He also leaves Connie's children and grandchildren whom he loved dearly.

Peter's siblings Linda Livolsi (late husband Tony) Estelle, Bill and his wife Lefke will all miss and cherish his memory along with his many cousins.

Uncle Peter also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews whom he adored. He loved hearing about all their accomplishments.

At a young age he began a career at Everbest Liquor and Deli working alongside his father in the family business, His gift of gab brought him to sales where he became very successful selling cars at dealerships throughout New York and New Jersey.

Although he loved his family up North, the pull of the warm sunshine and beautiful beaches won out, and in the end Florida was where he wanted to be. He was able to convince Estelle (gift of gab) of the same and together they found Highland Beach where he spent his last 14 years.

Peter loved his family, music, people, being outdoors and the beach.

Somehow the pain was always a little better when he was outside and visiting with friends. When you would meet him by the swamp you would never know that he was living with constant, tremendous pain. He would always greet you with a big smile. He was born with a gift to tell a good story and never let the facts get in the way. When called on it he would just laugh. Even though he knew the truth, the story mattered more.

Relatives and friends are invited to a service at Horizon Funeral Home at 4650 North Federal Hwy, Lighthouse Point, Florida from11:45am to 1 pm.
