Robert Eugene Polson

Robert Eugene Polson, a devoted, hard-working, and resilient man, passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 65. Born on August 16, 1960, in Fremont, Nebraska, Robert found his love for farming at an early age and pursued this passion until 2016. He was a cherished and beloved individual, known for his adventurous spirit, bravery, and generosity.

Robert married the love of his life, Dee, on December 13, 1980, after meeting her in Nebraska when she was just 17 years old. Together, they shared a life filled with love and family. In 2017, Robert and Dee moved to Lighthouse Point, Florida, where they continued to build their life together.

A man of many interests, Robert enjoyed Tractor pulling, deep sea fishing, and golfing. His honesty, wisdom, and selflessness were evident in all aspects of his life. Robert was a loyal and compassionate individual, always kind-hearted and thoughtful towards others. His humorous nature and faithfulness endeared him to all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife of 44 years, Dee Polson, and his beautiful daughters, Jennifer Vorderstrasse and Brittany Polson. He also leaves behind a son-in-law, Brett Vorderstrasse, and his cherished grandchildren, Aubrey, Brooke, Wyatt, Grant, and Kent. Robert left this world expecting his first great-grandson, Hayden, who is due in November 2025.

A Celebration of Life will be held in his honor at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, located at 4650 N Federal Highway, Lighthouse Point, Florida 33064, on October 13, 2025, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Robert will be remembered fondly by his loving family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.
