Shirley carried herself with quiet strength and a deeply independent spirit. She was, above all, devoted to family—anchored by enduring love, and Compassion. Her strongest desire was to make sure her offsprings were well taken care of and also able to take care of themselves.
Shirley found enjoyment and companionship in the pastimes she loved, especially tennis and bridge—pursuits that reflected her focus, determination, and appreciation for time shared with others.
She was preceded in death by her husband of over 50 years Carl Licht. She is survived by Catherine Biehler ( Gerrard Weigold) daughter, Mary Licht daughter, and grandchildren - Carl Weigold ( Kaitlin), and Derek Weigold, Jack F. Townsend, 2 great grandchildren.
