84 years of age
Tom was born August 26th, 1939 in Cleveland, Ohio and is survived by his nieces, nephews and their spouses Todd (Christine) Tamcsin, Robert Tamcsin, Susan (Brent Roose) Tamcsin and Kristi (Geoffrey) Harrison, and his brother in law Dennis (Connie) Tamcsin. He was the proud great uncle of Danielle, Matthew, John, Eva, Hannah, Sally, Hudson, and Connie. He is preceded in death by his mother Alice Malone, his father Edward Malone, his sister Connie Tamcsin, and his nephew Timothy Tamcsin.
Tom studied at Miami University (Ohio) and graduated from Case Western Reserve in 1964. He was a high school teacher in the Miami-Dade County public school system prior to taking a position with National Semiconductor and later worked at Motorola. He was an accomplished sailor who competed in events in the Atlantic Ocean, the Great Lakes, and Lake Minnetonka.
