Annaabelle E. Tippie Lucas

Annabelle E. Lucas, 89 of Lima passed away 10:30 a.m. Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Springview Manor. She was born on Sept 14, 1923 in Lima to Moses B. & Elizabeth (Redd) Tippie and they preceded her in death. On January 20, 1940 she married Rev. Elwood Lucas and he passed away March 21, 1987.

Mrs. Lucas was employed as an Inspector for Ex-Cell-O Corp. retiring after 33 and a half years of service.

Annabelle is survived by her children: Thomas Lucas of Lima, Michael (Leilanie) Lucas of Texas, Jonathan Lucas of Lima, Judith Ann Kohler of Lima and Debbie (David) McGuire of Lima, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren, Tommy, Michelle, Jenni, Terry, Kate, Sarah, Tyler, Emma, Jaron, Kelsie, Steve, Lisa, Marianne; sixteen great grandchildren, Alayna, Katiebell, Gavin, Talin, Layla, Avery, Jase, Mikhaila, Myka, Titus, Christopher, Megan, Matt, Shelly, Katie and Liora, and eight great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, three sons, David Lee, Elwood Paul and James Gordon Lucas and one grandchild, Randy Lucas. Annabelle was the last of twenty two children.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 7, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Family and friends may call Tuesday, November 6 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Preferred memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
