Betty Louise LAMMERS, 85, of Lima passed away 5:10 p.m. Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at Lima Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 13, 1927 in Lima to Dwight H. & Lucille Z. (Marks) Mort and they preceded her in death. On July 8, 1944 she married the love of her life, Ralph F. Lammers and he passed away in June 29, 1998.

Mrs. Lammers is survived by her children: Donna (Thomas) Long of Waynesfield, and Ralph (Marcia) Lammers of Lima; eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, and three gr-great grandchildren, she is also survived by special sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Ralph Miller of Kalida.

Along with her parents, and her husband Ralph, she is preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Siefker, a sister, Melvene Klass and a great granddaughter, Ashley Eutsler.

Betty was a member of St. Gerard’s Catholic Church, she was employed by Pangles Master Market as the Frozen Food Manager. She had also been employed as the office manager for Dr. Ludwig. She was a member of the VFW Post 1275 Auxiliary. She loved her family and friends, she also liked travelling and going to casinos.

Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, April 15, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Father Jim Szobonya officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 14 from 2:00-6:00 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Kidney Foundation or to the American Heart Association.
