Betty Jean Phillips, 77, of Lima, died at 4:58 a.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1940 in Mousie, KY to Dingus and Clara (Thomas) Beverly who preceded her in death. On Feb. 3, 1960, she married William A. Phillips who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1992. Surviving are her children: Rick (Tammy) Phillips, Ron (Sharma) )Phillps and Lisa Phillips-Davenport all of Lima, Kim (Kelly) Oliver of Lakeview and a special “daughter” Diana Bardo of Lima; a son-in-law, David Hunt of Lima; grandchildren: Tiffany Newbury, Kristy Larrison, Amanda Moyer, Taylor Phillips, Rodney Phillips, April Phillips, Bobby Phillips, William Tyler Phillips, Kellsie Curl, Brittany Davenport, Faith Davenport, L.J. Davenport, Tristian Davenport, Steve Hunt and Amy Gibson; great-grandchildren: Brittany, Rickey, Aubrey, Emma, Brendyn, Brantley, Keaton, Payton, Logan, Mason, Colt, Brooklyn, Wyatt, Alexis, Kysen, Layla, Chloe, Caden, Jenna, Jerry and Adilynn; siblings: Mildred (Kenneth) Ritchie of Softshell, KY, Closene (Elmer) Grigsby of Mallie, KY and Bufford (Shirley) Combs of Supply, NC. She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Debra A. Hunt and two sisters, Erma Jean (Wayne) Owens and Versie Beverly. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker, boss lady, loving mother and grandmother. She loved her family, enjoyed gardening and taking care of her animals. Visitation will be on Sunday, from 4-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Her funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, June 4, 2018 with Rev. Jim Lyle officiating. Burial will follow in Preston Cemetery, Alger. Biography

Betty Jean Phillips, 77, of Lima, died at 4:58 a.m., Thursday, May 31, 2018 at her residence. She was born June 24, 1940 in Mousie, KY to Dingus and Clara (Thomas) Beverly who preceded her in death. On Feb. 3, 1960, she married William A. Phillips who preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 1992.
