Beverly Sue Sue Medsker

Beverly Sue Medsker, 72, passed away on July 21,2017 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, surrounded by her loving family. Sue was born on July 17, 1945 in Lima, Ohio to Harold and Betty (Shriver) Younts who preceded her in death. On June 24, 1967, she married Thomas W. Medsker who survives in Lima. They recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary.

Sue retired from JC Penney and liked her job, and enjoyed her co-workers. She enjoyed traveling, shopping, bingo, reading, gardening, and truly loved and enjoyed her husband, children and grandchildren, and her little Yorkie, Coco.

In addition to Tom, Sue is survived by her children, Shelly Medsker of Columbus, Amy (Brett) Noble of Lima, Thomas Anthony Medsker of Lima, and Lori (Shawn Warner) Medsker of Lima. She has 7 grandchildren: Brady and Joey Noble, Ashley and Amanda Medsker, and Haley, Cody and Abby Koenig. She is also survived by 3 brothers, David (Susan) Younts, John Younts, and Robert (Cathy) Younts. Her brothers in law and sisters in law are: Joe (Susan) Medsker, Kathy Stedke, Jim (Joni) Medsker, and Melinda (Ted) Edler. She was preceded in death by her brother in law, Robert Medsker, her sister in law, Diana Younts, her mother in law and father in law, Joe and Marie Medsker.

The family will receive friends on Thursday July 27, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 28, 2017, St. Rose Catholic Church, with Fr. Norbert Howe officiating. Interment will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.
