Donald Frederick Kinninger

Donald Frederick Kinninger, 90, of Grand Junction, Colorado, and formerly of Lima died Saturday October 30th, at the Hospice Care Center, in Grand Junction. He was born April 20, 1920, in Wapakoneta, to Gust F. and Mary (McGuff) Kinninger who preceded him in death. On June 27, 1942, in Lima, he married Glenna M. Flager who preceded him in death on August 12, 2010. Mr. Kinninger was a graduate of Bowling Green High School, attended Northwestern School of Commerce and was a World War II veteran. He and his wife moved from Lima to Colorado in 1971.

He is survived by three children Dan Kinninger of Fountain Hills, AZ, Bill Kinninger of Greenville, SC and Jane Braile of Hiawatha, KS; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will begin at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday December 4, at the Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Father Joy Poonoly, officiating. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery at a later date. Friends of the Kinninger family may call from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the services at the funeral home.
