Dorothy Mae Kramer, 86, of Lima passed away 12:15 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at Mercy-St. Rita’s Medical Center. She was born in Leipsic, Ohio on June 9, 1931 to Jasper Earl and Aezelda Beth (Robenolte) Dearth and they preceded her in death. Dorothy had been a nurses Aide at Lima Convalescent Home and Springview Manor for many years. She had also been a teacher’s aide for Head Start. She was a great mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was a 1949 graduate of Ada High School, she was a member of the Elida VFW Auxiliary, she was active in the Salvation Army, she was a volunteer of S.T.A.R.S. at Faurot Elementary School, she was a member of the Senior Citizens Bowling League at 20th Century Lanes, and a poll worker for Allen County Board of Elections. Mrs. Kramer is survived by her children, Beth Boudroua, Andrew (Sue) Freed, Todd Freed, Steven (Toni) Freed and Hazel (Rolley) Cunningham. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Virginia Vaughn and a son, Marvin Freed, two stepsons: Alvin and Dwight Freed. She is also survived by a stepdaughter, Helen Washington. She is survived by thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Dorothy also leaves to cherish her memory her many siblings: Russell (Karen) Dearth, Gerald (Jeanne Anne) Dearth, Justin Dearth, Tom (Janice) Dearth, John (Anita) Dearth, Kathleen Bear, Esther (John) Penhorwood and Janet Gault; and her brother-in-law, Doug Greer. She was predeceased by a brother, Donavon Dearth, two sisters, Clara Ilene Padgett and LaDonna Greer and 2 brothers-in-law, Lloyd Padgett and Robert Gault. She is also preceded in death by her husbands. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2018 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Dearth and Major Jeff Stacy officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ada, Ohio.
