

Doug A. Dorley, age 41, of Lima, died unexpectedly Friday morning Dec. 18, 2015, at his residence. He was born Oct. 1, 1974, in Lima to Michael P. and Diane (Clancy) Dorley. His mother preceded him in death and his father survives in Lima.
Also surviving are three siblings: Dan M. Dorley and Angie M. (Marc) Bowker both of Lima and Mike C. Dorley of Dayton; and his nephews, Conner, Ethan and Kevin Bowker; plus many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Doug was a pipefitter for Local 776. He was a 1994 graduate of Lima Central Catholic High School, plus served his apprenticeship to become a pipefitter. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, a volunteer in the school’s cafeteria and assisted coaching football and baseball for the elementary as well.
Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 24, 2015, at St. Charles Catholic Church, with Fr. Steve Blum officiating. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, from 4-7 p.m., and again on Wednesday from 2-8 p.m., at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer memorial contributions may be made to St. Charles’ Dorley Lunch Scholarships.
