

Gerald William “Bill” Keysor, 85, of Lima passed away 6:06 a.m. Wednesday, August 03, 2011 at SRMC. He was born on Oct 13, 1925 in Mansfield to William G. and Ruth E. (Hyman) Keysor who preceded him in death. On October 10, 1946, he married Catherine L. “Katy” Gass and she survives.
Mr. Keysor is survived by his children, Ronald (Pam) Keysor of Delphos, Ohio, Linda (Robert) Hunter of Lima and Kathy (Gary) Mason of Lima, his grandchildren, Don, Wendi, Buck, Bonnie, Josh, Nate, Lonnie, Billy Jo, Jimmy, Bill, Bob, Gerry, Mona, Tony, David, Jenny, Katy, Emily and Steve, his sixty great grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother: Delbert (Rose Mary) Keysor of Columbus. He is preceded in death by a son Robert “Bobby” Keysor and his siblings: Robert and Glenn (Rheba) Keysor.
He was a retired owner of the Bandstand Nite Club and Keysor Pit Stop. He was a U.S. Navy veteran during WW II. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 96, a life member of the VFW Post 1275. Bill raced stock cars for 20 years at Allentown Raceway. He was an avid NASCAR fan; he was a great husband, father and grandfather
Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M, Friday, August 5, 2011 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Chaplain Dottie Kaiser officiating. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery where VFW Post 1275 will conduct graveside military rites
Family and friends may call Thursday, August 4 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
