Ginger Ann Oliver Salyer

Ginger Ann Salyer, 69 of Lima passed away at 6:10 p.m. Tuesday evening March 26, 2013 at her residence. She was born on June 16, 1943 in Lackey, Kentucky to Isom and Dorothy May (Phillips) Oliver and they preceded her in death. On February 7, 1995 she married Gary L. Salyer and he passed away July 13, 2012. She was also preceded in death by a son, Todd Lundy, a sister, Brenda McGue and a brother, Danny Oliver.

Ginger is survived by her children, Carl (Barbara)Rose, Donna Diehl, Barry Rose, Trenna Rose, Sonia(Bill) Irvin, Jeff Salyer, James Lundy and Travis (Jamie) Lundy all of Lima and Jayme (Chad) Acton of Dola. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren, her siblings, Bonnie (Scott) McGue of Lima and Kim Allen (Kelly) Oliver of Indian Lake, OH.

Mrs Salyer was a waitress/bartender at Murph’s Place, the Huddle, Big Deal and lastly at the Cameo. She loved sewing and quilting, working in her flower gardens, doing yardwork and having a vegetable garden.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 29, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 28, 2013 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home.
