Keith and I want you to know that we are thinking of you and including you in our prayers daily during this time.  We wish we could be there Friday to celebrate Aunt Gladys' life.  Since we are unable to be there, we want you to know that your mom (our aunt) was a precious lady.  I remember the house in Cridersville, and I have many memories of our visits there.  Most recently, we enjoyed visiting with Gladys at home where she always made us feel welcome, provided yummy lunches (thanks to Darlyn and Craig who helped).  I always new she loved to read and was sad as her eyes would no longer allow this time.  Despite this she was always cheerful and always had a great sense of humor.  Memories are important and help with the healing.  They provide a time of reflection and lots of laughter.  We leave you with this poem by James J. Metcalfe.  There are those special memories we cherish through the years.  The most of them are happy ones a few are touched by tears.  They all become more beautiful the older now they grow.  And with their age they take their place as days of long ago.  They are the pictures of a past for which we sometimes yearn, but which we know so well is gone and which cannot return.  They have no market value in our commerce of today, they are not even anything that we can give away.  And yet those memories can play a most important part, as they inspire or console or elsewise help the heart..  We are praying for you.

Darling and Errol I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. She was a nice lady and kind to me when I came to your house to play.. May the Lord bless you in your time of grief.

Darlyn and Craig, we are sad to hear of your mom's passing.  Wish we could be there on Friday, but  due to work and a meeting, we won't be able to attend her memorial service.
