Harold E. Miller

Harold E. Miller, 87 of Lima passed away 8: 21 p.m. Monday, September 23, 2013 at St Rita’s Medical Center. He was born on June 20, 1926 in Lima to Clem and Gladys (Wurster) Miller and they preceded him in death. On April 13, 1948 he married Helen Jean Conaway and she survives him.

Mr. Miller was also survived by his daughter, Mary (Hillery) Evans of Lima, six grandchildren, Courtney Evans, Hillary Evans, Alicia (Andrew) Phillips, Andrea (Tige) Ladden, Christopher (Traci) Miller, Drew (Kimberly) Miller; thirteen great grandchildren, Alexis (Andrew) Brown, Alec Brown, Colton Brown, Rhiannon Phillips, Branden Fuqua, Dylan Ladden, Kaylynn Ladden, Gage Ladden, Daide Miller, Jaeda Miller, Rilynn Miller, Daiten Miller and Gianna Little. Harold was preceded in death by his children, John J. Miller and Nancy Jo Keiffer, and a sister, Helen White.

Harold had been employed with Campnell Pest Control as an exterminator for 30 years, prior to that he was employed at the R & R Railroad. He was a member of the St. Mark’s UMC, a member of the Lima Fraternal Order of Eagles, the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks and he and his wife were the proud recipients of the 2000 Pride of Lima Home.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home with Pastor Mary Ann Tomlinson officiating.

Family and friends may call on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 12 noon until the time of the service at 2: 00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
