Jean Elizabeth Henze

Jean E. Henze age 89 died at Mercy Health-St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima on October 2, 2018 from complications of pneumonia. Jean was born June 11, 1929 in Amherst, Ohio. A 38-year resident of the Gomer/Fort Jennings area. Jean graduated from Vermillion High School and Bowling Green State University. Jean worked at chemical and pharmaceutical companies in Cleveland. She was a member Market Street Presbyterian Church, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution-Lima Chapter, Society Colonial Dames XVII Century, Scothorn-Chetwood Chapter, National Society United States Daughters of 1812-Jacob Stemple Chapter, National Society Magna Charta Dames and Barons, The Society of the Descendants of the Colonial Clergy, Moderator of Presbyterian Woman of Maumee Valley Presbytery, Honorary Life Membership of Presbyterian Women of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), Ohio Genealogical Society, Lima Garden Club and Friends of the Symphony. Jean is preceded in death by her brothers Robert Smith and Herbert Smith, husband William Price Henze, daughter Jane Ann and is survived by her son Jim, nephews and nieces Andy, Candy, Randy and Debbie. Funeral services will be at Market Street Presbyterian Church in Lima on October 13, 2018 at 11:00AM with Reverend Dottie Kaiser officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service in the Williamsburg Room at the church. Graveside service at Pike Run Cemetery in Gomer following the service.
