Jurlene Williams

Jurlene Williams, 74, formerly of Wapakoneta and Lima, died 7:33 a.m. Friday morning January 28, 2011 at Otterbein of Cridersville. She was born on June 4, 1937 in Salyersville, Kentucky to Ben and Harriet (Rowe) Williams and they preceded her in death.

Jurlene was a longtime member of the Cridersville Independent Baptist Church. In 2009, she was crowned Homecoming Queen at Otterbein of Cridersville Annual Resident Homecoming Dance.

Jurlene is survived by her siblings: Sheila (Doug) Nickles of Wapakoneta, Fay Green of Lima, Turlene (Jim) Eberle of Lima, Irene (Don) Green of Lakeview, Eva (Chuck) Sult of South Bend, IN and Seldon (Vernice) Williams of Wapakoneta.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by 5 brothers: Ollie, Ernie, Raleigh, Granville and Lawrence Williams.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 31, 2011 at the Cridersville Independent Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Wireman, officiating. Burial will follow in Shawnee Cemetery.

Family and friends may call on Sunday, January 30, 2011 starting at 4:00 p.m. at the Cridersville Independent Baptist Church 125 E. Main Street in Cridersville.
