Margaret Ann Black Edman

Peg was born on April 21, 1942, in Lima, to Richard & Dorothy (Kruger) Black. On August 28, 1961 she married Eugene Lee “Gene” Edman in Lima. Peg was a receptionist with Beery Insurance in Lima for many years. She was very active in her church; the First Church of Christ Scientist, both in Lima and in the mother church in Boston, MA. Within her church, Peg held numerous positions. She enjoyed helping her friends by volunteering at various organizations for them. She was a lover of the outdoors and Mother Nature. Peg was also an avid reader of all sorts of books, with her favorite being the Bible. She also enjoyed gardening and bike riding.

Peg is survived by her son, Joseph (Janice) Edman, of Bluffton, her two sisters Jane (David) Hollon of Lima & Martha ( Rev.Robert) Tussing of Canal Winchester, OH, sister-in-law, Nadine Black, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday June 15, 2014 from 1-5 P.M. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, 506 N. Cable Rd. Lima. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday June 16, 2014 at 10 A.M with Rev. Robert Tussing officiating. Memorials may be made to the Allen County Animal Shelter & First Church of Christ, Scientist.
