Randell Randy C. Howard

Randell C. “Ron” “Randy” Howard, 65, of Wapakoneta, passed away 1:07 a.m. Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at Mercy Health St. Rita’s Medical Center. He was born July 4, 1952 in Alger to Whitley and Geneva (Hale) Howard, Sr. and they preceded him in death. On July 3, 1998, he married Raelene Newport and she survives him.

Mr. Howard is survived by his children, Randy (Marcie) Howard of Canton, OH and Lindsey (Eric McPheron) Howard of Shawnee; his stepchildren, Tommy Gallespie of Lima, Jamie (Lisa) Davis of Ada, Clifford Shane (Samantha) Newport of Alger and Lisa (Josh) Sexton of Lima; twelve grandchildren, his siblings, Lloyd (Phyllis) Howard of Winnamac, IN; Wallace (Barbara) Howard of Harrod, Timothy (Peggy) Howard of Alger, Terry (Penny) Howard of Harrod, Whitley (Shawn) Howard, Jr of Harrod. He is also survived by his in-laws: Lynette (Mark) Longfellow of Wapak and Dale (Jackie) Newport of Waynesfield.

Randell was retired from the Roofers Local 86 Union. He loved his family, he enjoyed old cars and trucks. He loved to race motorcycles and sprint cars.

He had been preceded in death by his brother, James Ray Howard and his sister, Donna Howard.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 2, 2017 at SIFERD-ORIANS FUNERAL HOME with Rev. Terry Brock officiating.

Family and friends may call Friday, December 1, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
