

Robert Lewis Hollar, 75 of Lima passed away 12:27 a.m., Monday June 25, 2012 at the Kindred Hospital. He was born on July 17, 1936 in Lima to Lewis and Juanita (Ward) Hollar and they preceded him in death. On May 3, 1958 he married Sharon Kay (Neu) and she passed away on August 19, 2009.
Mr. Hollar is survived by seven children: Charlene Kay Walti , Rose Marie Daniels, Shirley Ann (Donald) Clay, Lewis Alfred (Tina) Hollar, Charles Lewis Hollar and Bobbi Jo (Darrin) Sibert all of Lima and Virginia Lynn (Darin) Cook of Spencerville, Ohio. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Montrese, Demetrius, Ashley, Robert, Cheyanne, Kayla, Jasmine, Tasha, Kinsey and Kylie and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a brother, Norman Eugene Hollar.
Robert retired as a carpenter from Stedke Construction Company, he had been employed previously by R&W Construction and Green and Sawyer. He was a Navy veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a life member of VFW Post 1275, and the American Legion Post 96 both of Lima.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, June 28 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Terry Brock officiating at Siferd-0rians Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery where the VFW Post 1275 will conduct graveside burial rites.
Friends and family may call on Wednesday, June 27 from 5-8 p.m. at Siferd-Orians Funeral Home. Memorial contributions can be made to that of the Donor’s Choice.
