Ruby Ruth Lucas Deifendeifer

.Ruby Ruth Lucas Deifendeifer, 93 of Lima, died 1:40 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Truimph Hospital. She was born on June 23, 1917 in Lima to William Henry and Minnie (Ward) Lucas and they preceded her in death. She was married to Cloyce Deifendeifer who passed away in Dec. 1984.

Mrs. Deifendeifer retired in 1982 from St. Rita’s Medical Center from the Housekeeping Department. She was member of the Lima Baptist Temple, an active member of the Lima Senior Citizens and of the American Association of Retired Persons.

She is also preceded in death by a son: Ronald Edward Deifendeifer who passed away in August of 1994. She is survived by a niece: Carolyn Ireland of Dayton, Ohio, a nephew, David Carr of Holland, Ohio and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

At Ruby’s request, there will be no visitation and the funeral service will be private with Pastor Gary Hohman officiating. Entombment will be at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
