Wilbur H Miller

Wilbur H. Miller, 92, of Delphos, Ohio passed away at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, July 23, 2017 at Van Crest Nursing Home, Delphos, Ohio. He was born October 20, 1924, in Grover Hill, Ohio to Morton and Clara (Louth) Miller.

He married Wilma Ball in 1942 and they had two children, Donna (Dave) Miller of South Dakota and Kenneth (Therese) Miller of Leo, Indiana.

He married Lila Riggenbach on June 10, 1950, and they had four children, Ronald Miller of Antwerp, Ohio, Bradley (Julie) Miller of Cincinnati, Nanette (Tom) Buzard of Delphos and Valerie (Tim) Smith of Mechanicsburg, Ohio.

Wilbur served in the U.S. Army in Europe during World War II. He retired from International Harvester in 1983 after 37 years of service. He and Lila spent much of their retirement in Florida, living there year round from 2003 until 2012.

Preceding him in death, besides his parents were his wife, Lila, three brothers, Melvern, Virgil and Howard Miller and four sisters, Katherina (in infancy), Treva Smialek, Irma Myers and Ruby Goodwin. He leaves behind fourteen grandchildren, Wendy and Jamie Miller, Becky Ringwood, Chris Miller, Carly Billman, Clinton Miller, Kevin, Jeff and Christy Miller, Brian Buzard, Tasha Booher, and Olivia, and Melanie and Nico Smith. He also leaves fifteen great grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Siferd-Orians Funeral Home, Lima, Ohio. Graveside services will be at a later date.
