Judith Cornog Horrocks, age 87, of Salford Township, Pennsylvania, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 12, 2026. She passed away peacefully at her son Geoff’s home in Telford, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on September 11, 1938, in Norristown, Pennsylvania, Judith (“Judi”) was the daughter of the late Havard G. Cornog and Jean S. Cornog (Sellers), and the beloved wife of the late George L. Horrocks, with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.
Judi was a graduate of Norristown High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Bob Jones University. She retired in 1996 from Chapel Christian Academy, where she served for 21 years as an administrative assistant and later as a business skills teacher. During her retirement, she worked as a teacher’s aide for a special needs student at Pottstown Elementary School and enjoyed training puppies with Crossfield Doodles.
Judi was an active member of Bethel Baptist Church in Sellersville, Pennsylvania, where she faithfully volunteered in the nursery. She also co-created and co-led the Golden Sunflowers, a ministry devoted to caring for and supporting those in need within the church and surrounding community.
She is survived by her four children: Kathy Horrocks, Geoff Horrocks, Greg Horrocks and his wife Denise, and Laura Horrocks; and her sister, Gayle Mandracchia and her husband Paul. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and Gracie, her loyal “grand-dog.” She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George Horrocks, and her parents, Havard and Jean Cornog.
Judi was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and cherished friend who poured her life into those she loved. Her gentle spirit, unwavering love, and deep personal relationship with God touched all who knew her. During her final days, Judi’s greatest desire was that her life would reflect her faith in Jesus Christ. She often shared that she did not view this as her “end of life,” but rather the “beginning of life,” as she looked forward to her eternal home with Him.
A memorial service celebrating Judi’s life will be held on Monday, January 19, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church, Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Visitation with the family will take place from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., followed by the service at 11:15 a.m., with a luncheon immediately afterward. Burial will be at Limerick Garden of Memories, Limerick, Pennsylvania.
In lieu of flowers, and in accordance with Judi’s wishes, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Upper Bucks Christian School, 754 E. Rockhill Road, Sellersville, PA 18960.
