Art was the oldest son in a family of 8 children. Art is preceded in death by his parents, Art Sr. and Mary, and three siblings, May, Fran, and Bob. He is survived by Marge, his loving wife of 68 years, and his 3 children- Marilou, Bob, and Bunnie. He also leaves behind three grandchildren- Scott, Andrea, and Brad; and four great-grandchildren- Zach, Sarah, Austin, and Autumn.
Art loved baseball, and the Boston Red Sox were his favorite team. He is surely happy now to see them in the World Series again! Art also loved camping with his family, skiing, and playing handball, among other things.
Art was very proud of his time in the Navy, as a naval-aviator in WWII. After receiving his wings, he went on to advanced training as an aircraft carrier pilot, and qualified with 14 carrier landings.
After the war, his love of flying never left him, and as a private pilot he took his family and friends on many fun trips.
Ultimately in life, Art was most proud of his family. He will be remembered as a wonderful husband, dad, grand-dad, great-grand-dad, and all-around good man.
Art, you will be loved and missed forever!
