Billie Frank Sims

Bill or as he was known by his favorite people, Grandpa, was proud to be a marine. After retiring from Lockheed after 40 years, he joined the Marine Corp League Detachment 711 Monterey Bay where he continued to serve his community while gaining a forever family.

What Bill enjoyed most was being a Grandpa. The smiles and enjoyment that he would get from just watching his grandkids play could light up an entire room.

Bill is survived by two sons and their families. His son Brandon and daughter-in-law Cinde; their two children, Jenna and Griffin; and great grandsons, Hudson and Bennett. Son Billy and daughter-in-law Kim; and their two children Daniel and Allison.

A funeral service for Billie will be held Friday, June 3, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery, 5810 Midway Road, Dixon, CA 95620.
