Charlotte Joan Luth

After battling numerous health problems over the past several years, Charlotte passed at the age of 81 on July 12, 2020. Charlotte was born in Auburn, CA on January 15, 1939, to Raymond and Dolly (Halsey) Mayers, the youngest of three girls, and was raised in Lincoln. Charlotte spent most of her career in nursing which she loved dearly. She loved helping those in need.

Charlotte enjoyed gardening, bingo, collecting antiques, reading, shopping and crafting. She also enjoyed crocheting in which many family and friends were the recipients of her beautiful afghans and slippers.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her parents, her oldest sister Shirley Gooch, brothers-in-law William (Bill) Files and Maynard Gooch, nephew Michael Files and her beloved toy poodle Rusty.

Charlotte is survived by her sister Carol Files, children Ray (Cindy) Solander, Sandra Ranelli Schwab, Frank (Teri) Solander, Marilyn (Fallon) Murch and Barbi (Donovan) Fox; 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a celebration of life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association, Placer SPCA or a charity of your choice.

Rest in peace Mom; you will be forever loved and missed.
