David Joseph Welch

David Joseph Welch, age 87, of Lincoln, California passed away on Tuesday, February 2, 2021. David was born in Sacramento, California on February 19, 1933. He was preceded in death by his father David Nevens Welch, mother Katherine Roberta Welch and brothers John and Charles Welch.

He is survived by his son David M Welch and daughter Patricia E. Wheat, James H Welch (Glenda), granddaughters Miranda (Joey) Thomason, Danielle (Matt) Pino, Brittany Welch Jackson, Daniel Welch, great grandsons Jacob Thomason, Sebastian Woodall, great granddaughter Gabrielle Woodall, and nieces and nephews.

A veteran of the United States Army, David enjoyed pheasant hunting and trout fishing throughout the area. He was an avid gardener and loved restoring his treasured 1926 Model T. He acquired his top-notch mechanics skills while working through the years for Clark Turner Buick, McCullough-Peck Buick and Reliable Pontiac-Cadillac. David also worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for some time.

Family and friends are invited to visitation on February 9, 2021 from 3-7pm at Lincoln Funeral Home, 406 H Street, Lincoln, Ca. A funeral service (partial mass) will follow on Wednesday, February 10 at 11am at Lincoln Funeral Home.
